Website hosting
Our website is hosted by IONOS. Hosting infrastructure processes technical connection information such as IP address, request time, requested address and browser information to deliver and secure this website. The basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, functional website. Technical hosting logs are independent of your Analytics choice. Language and consent
Your browser determines the initial language. A manually selected language is stored as “dcxr-language” in local browser storage until you delete it. Your Analytics choice and its time are stored as “dcxr-ga4-consent-v2” for 180 days. This preference itself contains no visitor identifier. Storing expressly chosen preferences is based on section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and, where personal data is involved, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Previous consent to our different statistics system does not count as consent to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics 4 – with your consent only
When Google Analytics is configured for this website and you select “Allow”, we load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use it to analyse visits, campaigns and clicks to Discord or X. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. We do not load the Google tag before consent or when you decline.
Google Analytics uses cookies with pseudonymous identifiers, particularly “_ga” and “_ga_…”, to recognise browsers and sessions. We configure cookies to expire within 180 days without automatically extending their lifetime on each visit. Collected data includes page views, community clicks, language, approved campaign identifiers and technical device/browser information. Page addresses sent to Analytics contain only approved campaign parameters, without other query parameters or fragments; referrers are limited to their website origin. Google receives the IP address during connection; according to Google, GA4 does not log or store it. We do not send names, email addresses or our own user IDs to Analytics.
Analytics data is held by Google, not in a separate DCXR statistics database. Processing may also take place in the USA. Google describes transfer arrangements and safeguards in its data transfer frameworks. This integration disables Google signals and advertising personalization. We do not build advertising audiences based on visits to this website.
We configure Analytics user- and event-level retention to two months without resetting it on new activity. Aggregated standard reports are not subject to this period and may remain available longer. See data retention, GA4 privacy and Google’s privacy policy.
You can withdraw consent for future collection at any time using “Privacy settings” in the footer and selecting “No thanks”. We stop collection, remove accessible Analytics cookies and reload the page without the Google tag. Withdrawal does not affect prior processing. The website remains usable without consent. When Analytics is not configured, no consent panel is shown and Analytics collection does not start.
Email contact
If you email us, we process your address, message and any name you provide to handle your enquiry. Email is provided by IONOS. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding. Messages are deleted when the enquiry is resolved and no further purpose or statutory retention obligation applies. See IONOS privacy information.
Discord and X links
Discord and X are ordinary links, not embedded widgets. Opening a link takes you away from this website. Processing on those platforms is covered by their privacy policies: Discord and X.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time for future processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
